The school is placed in two different towns, Naro and Camastra (at 25 km from Agrigento, an ancient Greek colony) and seven different complexes. It is a comprehensive institute that includes three levels of primary education : infant school (3-5 years), primary school (6-10 years) and first grade of secondary school (11-13 years).
The school is made up of about 800 pupils. Most of them were born in Naro, also if there are some pupils coming from Romania. The spoken language is Italian, even if the students at primary school study English. The institute is placed in an agricultural zone and the social and cultural context isn’t homogeneous.
